That's how I always feel when I turn onto my street after being out in the Vette for awhile. Fun's over. Into the garage. Go do some house chore or watch TV or something. But the fun's over because I've put the Vette away for the day...
No kidding...I have to leave the vette garaged all week while I work. Of course, that's what CF is for--at least I can live vicariously Monday through Friday....
I drive the Vette on days when I wont need the truck like every other day or so. So after a day in the 2000 S-10 ZR2 ext cab 4x4 (v-6) The Vette literally feels like a rocket. A rocket that will take a 45 degree turn at 40 mph.
Going back and forth makes me appreciate the Vettes incredibleness.
ranger, another one here who knows that feeling Its a far cry when getting out of my modded '90 and then into a pos toyota camry with horrible paint oh well, at least its a 5 speed/dohc V6

I never feel that way bringing her home... but pulling into the parking lot at work just breaks my heart. She's got a mind of her own and does not like to be pointed in "this" direction. Once she's parked and I shut her off... then I say the same thing. "Fun's over" :sigh:

Sorry bros. Can't say I feel the same way. I love driving the Vette (on those rare occasions, since she has been tagged a "Garage Queen). However, there are way too many other things that I enjoy in life to feel as tho the fun is over once I park her.
It is a great feeling driving a Vette. It was actually warm enough here in metro Detroit to have the top off this morning on the way into work. Now that is a great way to arrive at work.
I have to drive a big old unmarked Poe-leece Crown Vic to and from work
Can't talk them into getting you an unmarked Vette to drive too and from work in? Might be kinda hard to transport prisoners in hunh? Shoot, might be able to get some good confessions from them if you are allowed to interogate them in it.
