Red Question???
I need a new bumper and a guy on eBay has one that is already red. Well I was thinking I may can just bolt his on and let it ride untill the whole car needs repainting. But my question is my car is a red 89 and his is a red 85. is the red the same?

One of the red exterior color for both those years is Bright Red, the other is not.
If both your and his car are BR, then you should be in fat city.

For the exact shade of red...
Check your RPO sticker (located on the underside of the center storage lid between the seats). Look for a code at the bottom that starts with "WA" followed by four numbers.
Have the seller do the same (his sticker will be in the storage compartment behind the drivers seat).
They should match.

just slap some fiberglass filler, and a little body putty on there...
you may have some minor fitment issues with a new bumper (each one has its own quirks... I found that out just by putting another '85 bumper on my '85)
