I'm using stuff called freeze12. Search the web for it or I can sell you some ( I ended up with extra). Works very well and I think it is a better alternative to converting to r134. I just looked at your sig- not sure if this would be appropriate for your model year- you could call the manufacturer for specifics.
Be sure the shop that removes the R12 gets ALL of it out of there. Mine got contaminated with R134a and the entire mix in the system is now ruined. Mine was ice cold for two summers but recently stopped working properly. Took it to get tested and found out the bad news.
I'm taking my car to an HVAC/radiator repair shop to have it all pulled out again at vacuum for two hours and charged back up.
Some shops require their techs to sign off on A/C conversions and refrigerant charges. Just a friendly piece of advice...
