Default "DUMMY LIGHTS"

I fixed the brakes on my 94 vert and also the park brake....now when I accelerate the park light comes on and then dissapears? And the service abs light comes on but when I turn the engine off and re-start it goes away? Same with service asr? Anything I did? Or do these things solve themselves? They don't come on all the time but the park light does...again when I accelerate? Could this be low brake fluid?

You may also wind up having to rebleed. Was following your other thread and am curious what you wound up doing for your e-brake handle problem on '94.

My e-brake problem was brutal......but after a few swear words and some heavy breathing I got it done....Likewise I removed the seat, plastic cover, and the e-brake handle assembly itself which had 2 tores bolts. they are very very tight so becareful when "craking" them loose. I used my oem tores wrench from my 96 targa and it worked. But I did spend $20.00 at a local hardware store and bought the right set. (WORTH EVERY PENNY). Now since I had it removed I tilted the assembly and fought with it till I had the right position to re-attatch the cable in the slot...then re-install. Not that easy at first. But after cooling down I lowered the handle (GEAR) all the way to the bottom linked in the cable...and walla! Then once the cable was attached I line up the torex bolts to the holes and re-fitted assembly. It involves a little bit of a struggle because of slight tension. But in the end it worked out fine. I did not have to loosen any equalizers on the rear discs to loosen tension. It all worked out fine.
