Default Sun Screen problem / question .

I just replaced my sun screen for the targa top which I purchased from MidAmerica. For some reason, it keeps falling off. I cleaned off the inside of the top, and put the shinny side against the top as directed. Three days later, it fell off again. ( third time ) Anybody have this problem.

I'm not sure I am exactly understanding you but you can get larger clips for the shade so it stays in place.

I'm having the same problem, it stayed on for a year and just recently fell down.

I put it back on, came right back off.

So today I took the top out, took a wet rag and wet the top, put the liner down and slowly and carefully worked out every crink and bubble. This is basically what I had to do last year as well.

I did the same thing, three times. Today, I wiped off the top with alcohol in hopes to remove any film which causes the sun screen not to cling. Static holds it on so any film might not allow it to adhere properly. I had one last year and once I put it on, it stayed on all year.

Mine was drooping in one corner (after four years), and each time I pushed it up it came down even more. The drooping part was getting bigger and heavier and gravity was taking over. I took off the top, flipped it over on a towel and windexed the snot out of both the liner and the top. Then I made sure all was dry. When I stuck it back on, I made sure all the edges made contact with the top glass. The edge of the corner that had drooped had never made contact on the glass because the liner did not fit right. It's on tight now, and hopefully good for a while.
