74K on my 94 and everything works fine. As far as working on electronically controlled engines, I'm beginning to think that jumping the interface port with a paperclip and having the car tell me what's wrong is the way to go. My 69 Cougar has a vapor lock problem that has driven me nuts for quite a while.
Hey man, I love that pic of Clemente. I think he was the best all-around baseball player I ever saw. First game I saw him play he hit 3 triples in 3 Rivers. That's the day I kind of said to myself--Hey, self! "This guy might be something special!"

Hey guys, I just took Chris Petris' class at Bloomington Gold last week and he coverd all the problems you have with your cars. He seemed very helpful and gave us his E-mail address. E-mail him your questions at chris@corvetteclinicinc.com
Tell him that Ron with the LOUD exhaust told you about him.
Try to be very concise and specific with your question and give complete details of what year and options (A4, 6-speed, coupe, etc.)
Be respectful of course and give him some time to answer you. Then take his class when you get the chance. Best $100 I ever spent!
I attended a steak fry for Forum members in St Charles, IL Saturday night (great job Bigfish!). I met a member who had 2 1965's and was looking to purchase a C4 vert for his wife to drive.
He was concerned because everything is controlled electronically and by computer chips. He knows how to work on the older cars but is worried that he will not be able to fix a C4.
The problem is that the Corvette mags have these troubleshooting columns every month that makes it look like C4s are constantly having serious malfunctions that baffle the owners and professional mechanics.
I tried to explain to him that reading these articles presents a scewed view of our cars. The many owners who do not have any problems are never heard from in these mags.
Heck! Just tell him to scan the Tech and General sections of the forum. No problems, everything works. But, I still love the Vette.
