I've been offline for quite a while since we just moved from Vicenza, Italy to Augusta, GA. Still waiting on the Vette to make it here, it should arrive around 15 July (We shipped it on the 10th of May).
I'm going through some pretty serious Vette withdrawal only made worse by seeing all of the Vettes around here!! In Italy it was rare to see another Vette, I've seen everything from C3's to C6's and am about ready to go to car lots just to get behind the wheel of a Vette!

I know Vette withdrawal well...I have to resist and "save the wave" when I'm in my '97 Accord...that's a new take on "save the wave."
In a few days you'll be reunited, and you know it feels so good...OK, Peaches and Herb fans, don't waste the vibe go and hug your steering wheel while youcan. A woody!
Welocome back! If you were here in Vegas I'd suggest you go to Springmountain Motorsports and take a Z06 around the track a few times....Or rent a C5/C6 from Exotic Auto Rental here, until you get your Vette back. So just grab a C6 for a test drive from your nearest dealer! Who knows...You may end up with two Vettes in the driveway!
Save the wave...for when you're driving your Vette or learn the hard way.
I still wave when not in the vet. People do look at you kinda weird and don't wave back. This bugged me - so I made a little sign that I keep tucked in the pocket behind my passenger seat which reads "I'm a vet owner".... so now when I see another vet and I'm close enough, I wave then flash the sign -- they all wave back and usually give the thumbs up!
Hey Joe, welcome back to the states! I'll bet you had a great time over in Europe
Until you get your baby back, yeah go to some local dealers and drive a few
Augusta, GA? Are you playing professional golf too?
Hey Brad!
I loved it over there, but we're liking Augusta too Never played a round of golf in my life, that will change soon though...there are golf courses all over this city!
i don't want to even know how much it cost to ship your car over here.
Luckily I only had to pay for one vehicle to be shipped back (the Van) my employer paid for our tickets, the furniture and Vette shipment. I won't tell you how much but is wasn't cheap!

I can't wait for it to get here and I'll finally get to put the plate cover on the front since GA only uses the rear license plate
