It is simply Nightrider style computer activity lights relocated to the roof for all to see.

It's a third eye brake light for when you're sliding off the track backwards!

Either that or it's a convenience item for all the local police officers/state troopers who don't even want to see your face after they catch you speeding. They just fill out the ticket and slip it into the slot and then they're on their way. Kind of like the night drop at movie stores.

I see alot of people knocking it for lack of functionality. No offense, I'm a Corvette owner and I love my C4, but we are NOT the crowd to be pretending all styling serves functionality.
