I got my Vette for Xmas. Since then I have been on a journey called restoration. What else could you call replacing the fuel delivery, the ignition system, the brakes and shocks, misc. interior pieces, weatherstripping.
I have tightened and screwed, velcrowed and glued till I can't find anything else to do.And now when I drive my car it is rattle, squeak, groan and creak free.In other words it is as close to showroom as I can get it at this time. The only thing I hear on the road is the thump of the tires on rough pavement and the sweet rumble of my Power Effects cat back. I am now enjoying the Corvette experience without listening for anything that may need fixing.I think I will go nuts without the next project but my wallet feels better already.I wonder how long this will last probably not long I am sure but I can hope for the best and enjoy while I can
I thought that Corvettes were supposed to creaka nd rattle
I thought that was part of the Corvette experience. Man, I'd drive myself nuts tryin' to track down every last noise. You must have the persistance and patience of a saint!

My Wife calls it **** but I am like a dog with a bone ,sometimes I think I can hear through body panels . Attention to detail helps.
