"Windshield" Antenna

My power antenna is shot, and quite honestly, I really don't want to replace it right now. I installed a windshield antenna in another car of mine and it worked great. Has anyone here installed one of these in their Vette? I am curious to know how it worked and what brands were used before I go get one for me.

I've been thinking on using Custom Auto's hidden antenna since mine is also shot.

I have one that was broken off..I simply stuck a solid mast in the hole and it works fine,looks fine,just doesn't go down.

My least favorite electronic toy on the vette is that thing.

I was thinking a rubber ducky antenna unnder the fiberglass maybe, and fill in the hole.

Do you have a link where I can get it? How hard was it to install? I plan to do it when I take the dash apart, hopefully that will make life easier.

Looks similar... But I think I would trust these guys, I bought a head unit for my 67 Firebird.... Perfect fit!
