Default pay it forward time again

So far, I have obtained a spare tire and carrier, and a power window motor as a result of the pay it forward on the forum. I have given up some sill protectors and some other small stuff. If anyone wants one of those dash information cover plates for the C4 as seen in Ecklers, etc., let me know. It has the C4 logo in white. There is no lettering, just the logo. It is brand new; just don't like it in my vehicle. Free to good home!!!

I also have a couple of things. Free to you if you pay the shipping.
From my 43,000 mile 87 (all factory stock): A full set of stock rocker arms with washer/thingies and nuts.
A distributor cap that worked fine before I replaced it with an anfermarket item.
A plastic header panel for a vert. This is the part goes horizontally above the rear-view mirror. Black in color. BUT, I can't give it up until I am sure its replacement fits OK (I am converting to 95-style latching hardware so I can put on a hard top and this is one of the parts that have to be changed out)
A breadbox. Complete except for the plastic AC vent..

Breadbox is spoken for now. And now the header panel/strip is spoken for too.

What is the difference between the pre-95 latching hardware and the post-95?

Short story made long. I met with Jason from Vette2Vette at Bloomington Gold to purchase and install a hardtop on my 87. The C4 hardtop was only an option from 89 to 96. The donor car happened to be a 95 so I installed all the hardware from the 95. This requires new header/windshield hardware and the trim piece. It also includes using the bezels from the rear deck and the hardware by the shoulder-belt mounting area. The hardtop mounts in 6 places (windshield, rear deck and side mounts as mentioned above). The parts from an 89-96 will work, mine just happened to be from a 95. Unfortunately for me, Jason's parts-chaser did not pack the correct hardware for the rear deck so the top is not on yet. I will be taking a road trip to his shop on July 15 to "get er done". Note: Jason was highly embarassed by this screw up and must have apologized 50 times. He's a good guy though and I will continue to recommend him.

I'm interested in the "bread box" if not already gone.
