Default A problem avoided luckily.

Went on 750 mile drive over the holiday car ran alright except for that pesky vibration while accelerating. I averaged 22mpg driving a little faster than the posted (everyone was doin it was not gonna let a ricer blow by nope ain't gonna do it).

My oil temp at those speeds were 228-233deg Outside temp 92deg coolant temp ~200deg. I ran at those temps for 3 hrs. When I would slow below 55 coolant would drop to low 190's oil 218. Do these temps seem slightly excessive or should I quit worrying?

Now the really lucky part. I had mentioned a week or 2 ago that my PKE was acting up sometimes I would have to get close to the car and sometimes it did not work then bingo it worked fine the last few days.Well after I got home went down to get the bugs off(got a chip from a semi in my new paint job ) I parked in the garage and wiped her down sat the keys on top after poping the hatch got the stuff out closed it and went to get the keys and open the door.Nothing.
Shook the remote. Nada Now I am gettin worried was hoping it was not the security module cause I can't even unlock the doors(I knew the drivers needed fixed but passenger side worked last week) Crap I can't get into the car

I think I will run down to advance and get a remote battery. Wrong
2432 is the biggest they have need 2450 for the remote.
Go across town to the drug store. They have it . It is the biggest one they carry. Now the real tip is I bought 2 and stuck one in the tool box. Now you gotta realize I just came from a very big 75th birthday party for an architec up in the mountains. They had a fantastic Bluegrass band playing while we eat brunch bagels and smoked salmon,Garlic shrimp etc. I was just driving through West Viginia humming "A Man of Constant Sorrow" after they played it for me. Think Deliverance I stopped at what looked to be Goobers Gas station cause the price was right. Now imagine my PKE dieing while I was filling her up with mister green teeth's fuel.Gonna find a rare battery where? The moral of the story is if your remote acts up change the friggen battery before you start hearing dueling banjos. And buy 2

Same here:extended fwy cruise, 75-80 mph gets me 200-210. Slow down to 65-70 it drops to 190-200. I;d say your car is fine
