'86 backup lights

'86 backup lights
Proud first time owner of one of these babys so I am new to the maintenance. My backup lights don't work. Can anybody tell me where the backup light switch is before I tear into the car? It has a 4+3 manual tranny. Also, the neutral safety switch is not functional either. Any assistance locating these two items would be greatly appreciated. Garry

Also, you will want to buy a GM manual and post some pics of your car.

It is silver (repaint a couple of years back) and it is running a ZZ4 crate. Fastest car I've ever owned. I never thought that a car could bring so much excitement just from sitting in it let alone opening it up on a quiet road!!!!!

Thanks. Good thing I asked. I was gonna tear open the console to begin my search on the shift linkages. I used to be a Ford (forgive me) guy so I am still learning to get around Chevy equipment.
