Gunmetal wheels
Can this be right? Ebay wheels. Gunmetal item#7984930001 with a Buy It Now of $359 for all 4. Fits 1988 to 1999 Corvettes. 17" X 8.5" with 56mm offset.
I think these would look good on something like a black, graphite or yellow C4 and would be real interesting with a GS stripe to match the wheel color.
This is giving me major w**d!

Yeah, that's who I got my ZO6 wheels from. $399 plus shipping, $536 to the door. Excellent quality replicas, identical to the factory '01 set I also have.
Four, 9.5" ZR 1-style gunmetals are on their way to me. Should have them middle of next week. To be put on a Comp. Yell. car. I can hardly wait to see how it looks.
Ooops! You're asking the original and one and only techno dummy to post pics!!!!???? Oh good grief. Well, here's what I know so far: I CAN take pics. I can upload (is that the word?) them from camera to computer. I can even paste them into some emails and send them to people. Beyond that, the Neanderthal Age descends on my abilities. So, I guess I'll have to look it up as to how to do it. Long way of saying, yes, I'll do my best to post pics.
I REALLY love them and people either comment that they really like them or really dont. Im kinda sad you found em cause until now I didnt know any one else who had them. My car looks a little different now than in the pics. I added Black Hash marks and sprayed a coat of silver on the powerslot rotors to brighten them up more. Im doing Zaino Claybar and polishing the car tomorrow and Ill get some pics of the changes.

VERRRY nice. Did I say I like them? Those are great pics. Thanks for sharing them. I can't wait to get my wheels on. Patience. Next week. I originally thought the C5 wheels might not look so good on my C4---I was wrong! Yours look great! Drive on and enjoy!
OMG, steel! I'm almost salivating. You must be a little nutso (good thing) since you even sprayed the tread of your tires for the show!!! But the wheels---they look great, just greeattt.
Hate to say it corvetteron, but you're headed for OE- or AFS-land very very soon. didn't you write in another thread that you're getting rid of all your magazine subscriptions? well, that alone will pay for ............. one wheel or so.
why fight it? just get the damnedd things, put 'em on and, as they say, enjoy the ride!
ps actually i don't hate to say it at all. i like have miserable company, or is it misery loves company????? something like that.
Bah, you people stink! I was finally getting myself settled on picking up some polished Zr1's for my black 95, then you had to go and throw pics of the gunmetals around.
Bet those Gunmetal ZR1's would look sweet on a black car......
Speaking of Gunmetal ZR1's, I see OE carries them but AFS only lists black. Nothing for gunmetal. Anyone know of another vendor or will OE be my best bet?

Reason: added a question
I've got a blk/white stripe '94 and I've been wanting either black Z06's or ZR1's since I got the car. Of course the motor decided to blow doing all of 45 mph in third gear so the wheels have been put on hold till the motor is done. I was wondering, of all the people that run these wheels has there been many problems with vibrations or wheel not balancing? That's the only thing that makes me nervous about buying cheap wheels. I HATE HATE HATE tire/wheel vibrations. Any info/experiences would be much appreciated.
