Just wondering, I'm going to a family reunion in South West Virgina at the end of the month. I'm thinking of taking the vette. Has anyone driven their's in the mountains? I have the FX3 option. I'm thinking it would be a blast to drive on the mountain roads!
I drove my 95 almost the whole lenght of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was a blast except for the wife yelling slow down when I was hitting the curves. Lesson learned! next trip take ear plugs. I say go for it you will love it.

I was in Switzerland a few years ago. On a bus trip to Shilthorn, I spied a column of cars whizzing along one of the mountain climbs. The leader had an American flag emblazoned on his hood.
Why do vettes congregate in Europe to climb mountains? Because they can!
Have a good time!! These cars were made to be driven...especially up and down curvy mountain roads. The car feels even faster when you heading downhill (well, duh!!).

I live in the foothills of western NC and there is no shortage of good places to play scant miles from the house. The serious mountains are less than an hour away too and are more fun than anything you can do with your clothes on!

Better yet, leave both wife and ear plugs at home.
