noah's very good; had one for another car. evolution 4 is good too but kinda heavy. if you park outside, you may want a cable and lock, if only to hold the cover down and on the car vs. flying off (which others have done on my little sports car long ago). there's a way of curling the cable in 2 turns right near the lock that holds the cable tight along the bottom.

back to covers, just about anything made by sunbrella is good stuff, but very expensive. they make the sail covers for sail boats. covercraft has some covers made with sunbrella materials. and covercraft has mostly very good covers in all price ranges.

noah's probably your best bet. just remember, if you put it on over a very dirty (not lightly dirty altho that can be damaging over time as well) car, the small movements of the cover will grind the dirt into the car's finish. kind of like the reasons against a front end car bra.

and don't forget, you'll probably want ear pockets for your mirrors. some places cheap out on that or charge you more; get them--it's worth it to have.

hope this helps.

Default Noah

I have a Noah, and pretty happy with it. It has the mirror ears, and that doesn't make the fit too tight at that point - i.e. fits better.

They are pretty waterproof. I washed mine (on the car, as recommended) the other day, and it was hard to get water through, even with a hose.

As far as putting it on a dirty car, I agree. I have one of those California dust brushes, and I always use it before putting the cover on. No problems thus far.

Yes, the "ear pockets" which could be called "mirror pockets" make the cover look better. But even more important it keeps the cover closer to the body of the car and permits a much better fit, overall. Otherwise, you can go to Target, Wal, K, Advance, Pep, AutoZ, Kragen, et al, and get a Small, Medium Large generic cover (some of which are pretty darned good material) and just slip it over the car. And, in the slightest wind, when it "slips" its way off and disappears somewhere, that'll be that.

Also, there is a Tyvek by DuPont but I think while it does the job of protecting the car, it's too light. Plus, I think the top of the line covers are better. Cost more, but better.

For outdoors, stay away from thin nylon, all flannel, all cotton, etc. Take a look at the Mid America catalog; they usually give a pretty good breakdown of indoor and outdoor covers.

I bought my Covercraft Weathershield here. It's a great cover. Very light, stores compact and dries fast. It's machine washable too which is something you can't do with many covers.

I have the same cover for over 2 yrs and is still in good shape just have to wash it every couple of months. In the spring time with all the pollen and when I take the cover off there is not even one bit of pollen on it,looks like it did when I washed it and covered it up.

WZDADS has a wolf cover that I am very impressed with!!! Sometime in the near future I plan on getting one of those. I made the mistake of giving mine away since I park in the garage, but I now see the value of wrapping her up when not in use.
