Then go to their site that lists "Trusted Corvette Shops". You can then find a place that hopefully is near you and where other Corvette owners have received good service.
Most of the shop will do better work than the Chev dealer and are cheaper also they work on a lot more C4 now that they are no longer under warranty.
And as stated above, I agree you should report the dealer shop to GM. If they don't know how or aren't capable they shouldn't be a dealer service shop.
