oil eater
not exacly C4-related, but some info i wanted to share.
bought a gallon of this "Oil Eater" cleanser (non-toxic, biodegradeable, FDA approved, yadda yadda) from Costo. i was skeptical whether the stuff would be better than Simple Green, 409, etc. but i must say the stuff really works. the oil stain on my garage floor dissolved to this red liquid with a few sprays. the stain is not completely gone but it certainly looks better.
another surprising thing is that the solution, undiluted, was the first cleanser that actually stripped the oil off my hands, making it feel kind of "tingly." bare in mind i have used parts cleaner with my bare hands without ill effect.
the only caution on the label is that is stains bare aluminum. but...i did use it on my aluminum grill and didn't see much staining going on.
anyway, give it a try if you get a chance, and i'm curious to see if anyone else has used this stuff.
