Bose Repaired
Just installed my Bose CD/Cassette repaired by Dr. Don. He did a great job - looks like new. Replaced the face and buttons with the correct color (for a 92), and fixed the CD. Looks great, sounds great. Very professional job. When I received it (in a very timely manner I might add) it came sealed in plastic and was double boxed.
As for the R&R procedure, somewhat of a PIA (left bottom mounting screw was a bitch) but I did it myself. I highly recommend his service for those looking for a repair facility.

A very good outfit to deal with, he not only rebuilt my unit but talked me through the replacement of the speaker power relay. Anyone who has changed that knows what a job that is.

Send a note and ask. I see on his site where he has '90 and up units for sale, and '90-'96 tuner units (not the same as the head unit) for sale, but I don't see where he doesn't repair pre-'90 head units.
