I got a flat on the right rear driving to work today on the highway. The tire's shot. They're Goodyear F1 GSD3's with a few thousand miles on them. Would you guys...
a) Buy just 1 of the same tire since the mileage is low
b) Buy 2 Goodyear's to match both sided (as well as the front)
c) save $200 or so and buy a pair of cheaper tires and not match the front.
If I buy 2... can I go to 315/35's on the stock sawblades?
I got close to 50k miles from my prior set of GY Eagles so would replace just one.
I've heard the 315s will fit on 9.5" rims but they won't be right. You really need 11" rims for that.
I did it and had no problems before I changed tires and wheels. No issues whatsoever handling or otherwise and they didn't bulge much on the sidewalls either. Michelin Sport XGT Plus 315/40ZR16 on 9.5 stock rims. The D3's may bulge more due to the rim protectors.

Pop the other one and get em both replaced free. I always get the road hazard. The tire guy told me to stick nails in both of em at 1/2 tread and come back for free ones.
