I was looking to do the same a while back. Every place I looked at that was not local ended up costing almost as much or more as a new set of Chrome Sawblades once you factor in shipping both ways. It ended up beeing cheaper for me to buy a good used set of already chromed sawblades, and still have my old set to sell for a few hundred dollars. I ended up spending only $200 total after selling my old ones locally for about $250. Best bet is to find a local shop within driving distance if you insist on plating your excisting wheels, as it will cost you about $70 shipping each way to ship yours out to someone, plus what ever the cost of chrome plating on top of that. That runs well over $100 bucks for each wheel for a quality job. I've seen some good deals on Ebay. I think you are better of buying another set at a good price and selling yours for a few hundred dollars if your intention is to save money at the same time. Plus if the wheels you have now are your only set, you'll have the vette out of comission till the wheels come back to you if you have those plated. Just my suggestions.
A friend of mine showed me a link where you can buy outright (no core required) a brand new set of Chrome Sawblades for less than $600.00 and come with a 3 year guarantee on the chrome plating. I can't see to find it though.

Krylon Chrome can be bought at any Walmart
Just kidding. This has been brought up a few times and from what I can remember, many have ended up scrapping the idea because of cost issues.
