I now have new carpeting, weatherstripping, new **** and leather boot for the six speed shifter. It is shaping up nicely. I put new iggee seat slip covers over the dogged out leather seats, but this is not keeping me happy right now. (By the way, I am very pleased with the covers, it is just knowing that those ugly worn out seats are hiding under there!!)
As I have ordered parts I have found a wide range of quality from Mid America, Wilcox, Corvette America etc.
I am now moving onto new leather or vinyl? seats for the Polo 94...
Suggestions please? First hand advice only. Thanks!!
My passenger seat is still in good shape but the drivers seat is trashed... If anyone has a tan leather skin for a 94 standard seat that would saved me a bundle!?

If you want a new looking seat call Al Knoch. They ain't the cheapest but the seat is holding up great!!! I use my chair every night. Better to have them recover over new foam, then all you have to do is snap it in place. If you only want to recover part of the seat they will send color swatches to get the best match..

I had same situation on my '93. Corvette America was the only vendor who sent me a sample of the biege (color code 82) leather to be sure it would come close enuff to matching my 10 year old passenger seat and also would sell me only the driver's seat with the GM approved "35th anniversary" embroidry in the head rest. It did the job especially with the black console between the seats. I think their leather is thicker than the OEM covers.
I've shown the car 4 times since installing the seat and taken a 1st each time. Guess the judges don't notice the slight variation. The full set would only cost ~$200 more, but why spend it if it's not needed?
