Default Need help from vert owners

I put my soft top back in the car this past weekend and am a little confused as to what goes where. Its been 6 months since I've taken it out and the Helms manual is pretty vague on the pics. I need a pic of where the vert frame mounts to the body, or a desctription. I've got the three nuts fastened on each side, but there is a cable/wire with a silver round end on it that I don't know what to do with. Also there are a few threaded holes that I don't know what mounts there. Any help would be appreciated. Oh its a '90 model if that makes a difference.

The other threaded holes are for the hard-top b-pillar brackets. I seem to remember seeing the cable you mention, but I'm not sure what that does/ where it goes. Vette isn't here at work. I hope the pic helps. (also a '90)

yeah that helps alot actually. now just to find out where that wire goes. It looks like it is some sort of ground. It attaches to the soft top frame, its only about 2 foot long.

Default Soft Top

I believe the wire of which you speak is the ground wire for the optional hard top. It makes continuity for the hardtop rear window defroster grid.

This cable?

Attaches to the softtop frame next to the elastic for the rear deck cover:

And what looks like the rear bolt for the softtop pivot bracket:

There's a piece of carpet trim which covers this.
