Knocking :(
Guys,
My corvette has just started to knock
I took it to a friend, and he said do one of two things (check oil which was fine) and then add Lucas Lube. Well I did and it stoped for about a day or two, then he said since it hasn't stoped all together he said I would need to take it to a mechanic to have something done with the rockers? Sound right?
Someone guide me in the direction that it needs please if anyone knows a good shop or someone to do it in DFW (im a college student) for a CHEAP price please let me know or if I can do it my self.

Use a mechanic's stethiscpe to help isloate the problem are.
Translated: Get a long azz screwdriver, touch it to suspect areas until you find the noise. Put your ear on the big end and watch out for fan belts!

Did not really wanna say it but engine knock and cheap do not go togther.If you get real lucky and what your are talking about is a loose rocker
