Patching Hole in Door Panel
As I was cleaning my newly acquired C4, I saw that the previous owner used a wood screw to "repair" the loose driver's side door panel. This weekend I will be properly fixing the door panel.
Any recommendations for products that I can use to patch the hole in the door panel the screw made? The interior is tan. Its not extremely noticeable - but I know its there and would like to fix it without dropping close to $500 for a new door panel.

My bad...
Its a 95 coupe with tan interior. The issue is the previous owner put a wood screw where no screw should be in an attempt to "fix" the loose door panel.
Once I correct the issue of the loose panel, there will be an empty hole created by the screw I'd like to make a little bit less noticeable.
I've got the same problem on my 85 on both sides!! Whats wrong with these people that just take a power drill and some drywall screws and just drill em into the panel!! CRAZY!

After you have figured a way to secure the panel I'll bet a local upholstery shop could fix you up. Maybe they could come up with a plastic button to push in the hole. If it matched the interior color it would be less obvious.

I'll have to look into that. I wasn't sure if there was some sort of vinyl repair product that I could color match and fill the hole with. I'm going to more searches on the internet and see if anything comes up.
It's not extremely noticeable, but I know its there! I just can't imagine the previous owner's thought process
...I think I'l put a wood screw into the door of this American legend so it doesn't rattle when I close the door.
