Stupid?

I was thinking of getting a custom plate that said TOPLESS for my 94 convert. Good idea or not so good?

Depends... What kind of attention do you want?

I don't know that I would call it "stupid," but it's definitely not something I would do.

My 75 Caprice Classic vert has the original old style plate TOPLISS. I was in the city many years ago and two hot babes in a Mustang vert pulled along side and the driver said "Topliss huh" and hiked her blouse up to show me a beautiful sight. She hung a quick right and they were gone. That was the most memorable driving experience I've ever had. Get the plate if you can. You never know!!!
