Brought the sawtooth trims to a tire center and the mechanic told me that the rim had a flatspot on two tires. He had suggested new rims but I see companies who refurbish and align rims. Has anyone done this. I really like the sawtooth and the use of the stock centercap. I also want the inside of my rims to be spotless...
I have used "Transwheel, Inc" in Huntington, IN several times with good results. They have several branchs around the country. The company was started by group of Kelsey-Hayes engineers a number of years ago. Kelsey-Hayes manufactured the original Corvette wheels. Caveat: Their pricing has gone up over the past several years to the point where it may be more economical to buy a used wheel.
i have used the wheelcollision folks in the link above, and was very happy with their work. they straightened an out-of-round wheel on my '90 at a decent price, this wast last year.
the potholes in the PA roads are not friendly. hitting a moon crater @ 80mph on a 35 mph zone doesn't bode well for aluminium, 2 piece wheels
