Radio Light
One of the orange lights in my factory casset player/radio went out. Anyone ever had this happen? Is there an easy way to fix it? I would consider replacing it with an aftermarket mp3 or in-dash dvd if anyone has some suggestions of one that looks really nice in it's place.

My radio display lights wet out. There is a tech-tip “Delco/Bose Light Bulb Replacement” it was a big help. I did it on my 1994 Bose Gold. It took some time and a lot of patients, but for $5.00 in parts I was pleased. Good luck with yours.

A couple went out in mine and I did the tech tip and it turned out fine. You need to take it apart a good amount and feel confident doing solder work on the circuit board to do it though. If you are going to replace it anyways, go for it.

Hmm, I do IT work so I've taken apart a fair share of laptops and computers. Can't be much more difficult than a laptop those things can be a nightmare. I don't like fooling with solder to much but I'll try it anyway. Now I'll have a good excuse to buy one of those quick cooling soldering tools I always see on the infomertials.
