It depends what you want out of your car?
If you want more speed and power modify it if you were happy with the power before keep it stock just over haul it!
You will most likely need a new prom burned for the extra cubes, especially if you have performance heads ,cam, etc. You may even need bigger injectors.
As was already said, everyhting will bolt right up. I would hold off on any prom or injector mods for the moment though. I've got a 350 that was bored and stroked to a 383, and it puts out some real nice power. I run a bone stock set of injectors and prom, and it runs great!
If you think of injectors like a carb, bigger injectors will give you more fuel, the same way that a bigger carb would. And one of the biggest problems that people have with carbs is that most backyard mechanics run too much carb. They end up buying a carb that is too big for the motor it's on, and injectors are somewhat similar.
I'd recomend giving it more air before you give it more fuel. Take your intake to a machinist and have it opened up, and see if he can doo the same to your runners (if not there are bigeer runners available). That will not run you a whole lot of cash, and you'll get more from it. Then down the road you can get long tube headers and a free-flow cat which will open things up and allow your engine to really breathe nicely. Then you can mess around with improvements in the fuel system, because if your engine can't breathe properly, it won't put the extra fuel to use.
Sorry, I don't mean to sound like I'm preaching, but factory parts deliver fuel much, much better than they allow the engine to breathe.
I think 450 horse power is the accepted limit for the stock intake. That most likely means tweaking but not replacing. You can have a lot of fun with 450 ponies out front.
the motor was putting out 485 at the weels and was carbed. wondering if I should change heads and cam dart 202s and 292/282 cam will this be a problem?
