LT1 over heating trouble

LT1 over heating trouble
i have a 1995 M6. it has been sputtering and overheating. the check engine light comes on and off while driving. i am in iraq. my parents have the vehicle, so i am having to trouble shoot it via emails. i had my dad pull the codes and it displayed the following:

my dad says that the fans dont come on until the needle on the gauge gets into the red, is that normal? btw, there is coolant in the system. i cant remember off hand, do vettes have bleeders for the cooling system? any help that anyone can offer would be much appreciated. :flag

It is going to be hard to nail this down over emails.Why not give your dad your login and password and have hime log in so we can ask questions.That would probably work better.Over heating and fans not coming on may be a relay but that does not explain the sputter.Could be
something else going on internally.Gonna need more history and symptoms to help more.There is an air bleeder valve by the TB on the pass side on yours mine has one on the TB too but I think they did away with it on your year.Why do you ask was the coolant changed?If so air can cause over heating you have to Burp the system.

Have him log on with your name and password and it will help shorten the turn around time. Have him post problem under "Tech/Performance" for a better response.As said before, stay safe.
