Default Head light conversion

I was looking at the Corvette Central Catalogue and I noticed a conversion kit for the head lights that would switch them from pop-up to stationary for $900 bucks. Has anyone done this to their C-4, and if so, how hard was it to do, and how did you like the difference?

Thanks,
Joe B.

Thanks for the info lt4dogman; Thanks for taking the time to include those pictures and places to call. I'm not handy, and when I try to do something myself it usually costs me double what I would have paid a mechanic anyway. I'll talk to a friend of mine who owns a body shop, and see if he'll install it for me. Thanks.

Joe: The install is a level 1. You just have to remove the old pop up lights and hardware, bolt in the new setup and plug in the wiring harness.. Nothing extra to do..
I have a few pics of the front if your interested, or you can check my sig

Checked your signature, man, that's a nice looking ride, and the lights look awesome. Definately tempting. Have to do some serious thinking. Thanks.
