VIN number and options

Besides the obvious things (body style, year, engine) you're VIN number will only tell you what number C4 yours was to roll off the line.
Your RPO codes will tell you what options you car came with from the dealer's lot originally. If you're not sure what those are, check out this thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...04&forum_id=34
If you really are interested, you can order the original window sticker from the National Corvette Museum by calling them or visiting their webpage, and providing your VIN.

Dealers can get information from the VIN number, but if you look at the RPO code list under the console lid you can get info here: http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...o/8496rpo.html

That's the "Service Parts Identification Label". The RPO codes are the 3-character codes in the middle part of the label.
