Anybody with pe exhaust in or near grand rapids mi. i would love to hear what it sounds like. trying to figure out what i want to put on my car.like the idea of adjustable exhaust.
i know corvettekidnc has it and i will have it soon just bought a system off the forum so i am real excited about it. the system is discontinued in all the mailorder catalogs so i dont know if you can even get a new system anymore. retail on these systems was around 1400.00 but all the reviews i have heard were good ones there is actually one forsale on ebay right now for the l98 cheap too you might want to check that out
Well Terry it looks like they are gone. I just checked all the parts sites and they show they are discontinued. You may want to see if you can find a phone number for them. They are located in Grand Haven. Good luck.
i talked to a guy from power effects today on the phone they have a real bad mold issue.they have had this problem for 14 months. soon as they figure there issues out they will be back on the market again.there taking orders now but caint tell me when i might recieve a system.
I have one. I think it's the sound that pushed me over the edge to buy the car.
so that was it, eh? interesting. I saw a guy with one recently, a gs. said that he kept them closed all the time unless he was on a track somewhere. even then, he said it sounded good. what's your take on it?

I keep them wide open, all the time. I love the sound. On long highway runs, with the wife, I'll close them. Funny thing, never did one of those. Last time we were on the highway together, I said "what noise" and just ignored her.
My wife does not like mine even on low there is a little resonance not much around 2k rpms.I like the tips they are the best looking one of all I have seen.

Funny but I've never heard mine except from inside the car but I'm told it sounds good. A few weeks ago I was traveling through the mountains in the middle of the night. I went through a tunnel ( interstate) and I was all alone in there, so I nailed it and didn't let up until it was over 100 mph. It was almost orgasmic. I finally got to really hear it! At a recent auto-X event I was told that it was the best sounding car there. They were set wide open that day, of course. There were over 130 cars there including a number of other modified Corvettes.

nothing like going through a mountain tunnel with little to no traffic you can get the real effect then

Too much!
I never told her they were adjustable. The first time she was in the car I closed them. That was just to get her back in the car again. I opened them up and swear it's the same, that she just didn't notice it before.
When she gets tired of the noise, I'll close them and take her out again so she forgets.......hope she doesn't read this.

Depending on how strong she is, if she DOES find out, she's liable to wrap one of those double tailpipes around your neck!
