Default Warning when dealing with Electro-dynamics

Hi,
I have purchased many items over the past few years from a lot of the vendors on this site. I have had great experiences and have posted to reflect that. I also want to note when I have a bad experience
Forewarning: Good luck getting any thing from Electro-dynamics. I have been waiting over 4 months for C5 to late C4 front brake adapters. After waiting a month I called and he blamed the hold up on heat treating issue. I have called about 6 more times after he said it would be another two weeks and every time I call he tells me 2 more weeks. The company does not take credit card so I had to send a check. Now I am out $285 bucks! NEVER deal this poor company!

I would call the bank and protest, then get ed to make a set for me.

That sucks. If you still need/want the adapers contact forum member Ed Salinas (edsalinas) and he will hook you up with a set. I have a set of his adapters on my car and they look and fit great. Very nicely made and probably about half the price.

Does Ed still make these? I was told he has a helper who cuts them for him, but that he may have sold off his remaining stock. I hope I'm wrong. If nobody has luck tracking down Ed, I can help with dimensional info. I don't want to cost him any business though.

Your experience hits home as we have had a problem with Electro-Dynamics recently and I wondered if we were the only ones. Without going into the details, despite promises to send the products ordered, there has been no response to several e-mail follow-ups or phone calls. Needless to say this company is off our list of recommended vendors.
