After a nitrous backfire at the track I blew up my MAF. All the wires were shot in it. So, I got a new "re-man'd" MAF and ever since then the car is only pulling 195 gm/sec of air when it used to top 245. That's a 20 % loss of air. I had my mechanic go over the motor looking for an airleak of sorts and came up with none.
Does anyone have another MAF (maybe you bought a Granatelli and still have the stock) that I could just put on my motor for a test to see if I got a bad MAF?
The MAF would simply be tested to see if it would flow over 200 gm/sec and not altered in any way. I do realize this is an awkward question and probably not gonna get any takers since they're a tad on the expensive side hence the reason of my unusual question.
