Dumb question

I cant get the heat/air con to turn on. I just bought the car and cant figure it out. Is there something special you have to do? the guy I bought it from had it running but Im stuck?thanks

What year id the car? Does it have the standard or electronic a/c control? If its the electronic you really have to give the buttons a push, not just a light tap. Sometimes the contacts are dirty and have to be cleaned.

ain't that the truth!!! Wait... I'm generally the one supllying the stupd answer...

Seriously... I'd like to hear this one too... I finished my cam install and am trying to recharge the AC. Previously I'd hit the recirc button with an electronic controlled car, but now the compressor won't kick on to take any freon
