I'm already spending my kids' inheritance so I guess they won't need the vette either.

"Save it for what"...well save it for me.

I want my next C4 to be low mileage, pristine and bone stock.

its unfortunate that some suffer with a personality defect, or syndrome if you will, that forces them to never enjoy it, thereafter only to turn it over to someone else, take a beating anyway, and the cyle starts all over again.

on the other hand, i too see them as an opportunity to benefit from. what a sad world this is

Someone out there is saving their C6 just for me, and next spring, I want to find him and buy it.
My C4 is lonely and wants a playmate.

I thought these were investment toys that were only supposed to be wiped with a diaper and stored in a climate controlled garage

Hell yes, beat it like a red headed step-child! If it breaks, fix it back better than before. Life's too short to have a Vette and not enjoy it for it's intended purpose.

My C4 is medium mileage, more pristine every day, and bone stock. But that doesn't prevent me from driving it often and with great joy...

My plan was to "Save it" if you will. It has been sitting in the garage covered up for 4-5 months now (no time due to getting married and now selling the house). Now I need to get her running. What I have found over 4+ years of ownership is that it costs more to "Save it". Everytime I pull her out from sitting up in the garage something needs to be done to her $$$. I plan to really enjoy this car once she is up and running (hopefully next week). Wish me luck guys!

That safety pin holds mine together. That and the duct tape! Remove it and it will fall apart

This is what happens when you remove the safety pins and drive it like you stole it with the cops in hot pursuit...
