Default Help with a code 400?

Pulling into my drive this morn, and my "service engine soon" lite comes on. Cars running like a top. So, I put my trusty code reader on and I get a 0400 followed by ..COOL SYS.. 1. Then it repeats. According to the book a 400 says...Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Malfunction... Anyone familiar with this one? First peep I've gotten out of the car, 96 LT1 A4, in the 9 months I've owned it.

that means it's gonna blow up, and you have to give it to me before it does.

Actually, that's and EGR code. I would reset the codes and monitor. If it comes back, more then likely, it's the EGR valve.

You need a copy of the factory service manual - www.helminc.com.
