what item is this?

I'm missing those on both doors of my ruby. Does anyone know where I can order these parts? I'vetried explaining it over the phone and people are dumbfounded...

I dunno, a close up would help. But whatever it is, my '95 doesn't have them either.

In my parts and illustration catalog its called
a guide pin p/n 14092602.
My guess is that its there to support the door.
Check with the corvette salvage yards.

I don't have a closeup because that is not my door. that is a door to a early c4 (pre 90). I wonder if 90-96 doesn't have them?

My '94 doesn't but mine is a coupe, not a vert.

My 87 does have them, must only be on early models.
