Default Convertible question pic added

I have a 94 vert. The top is in great shape. However the very back where the top meets the decklid seems to not be fitting flush. You can push it down flush but it wont stay. If you have one you can probably picture this. If not i can post pics of it later. I was wondering what causes this and can it be adjusted? Thanks yall

I have the same problem on the passenger's side on my '93. Drives me nuts, but I still haven't been able to figure out how to adjust it.

On my 90, it'll start to do that once a week now. Pull the latch to release the pins. Lift the back up and the pin is just a bolt. I just loosen the nut on the top, and turn the pin itself until it tightens up. Close it to see how flush it is now, still not enough, then tighten it somemore. The shorter it is, the closer it will sit. Go to far and it will not latch.

Mines a 92 and the original top. It flips up a little in the back, but the seal fits just fine.

I usually don't run mine with the top up. If it's raining I take the Durango. When it gets cooler, I just wear a leather jacket.

The only problem i see with adjusting those bolts you were talking about is that it fits flush on the sides but not on the back. Will that method work. I know you dont want to over do it.[IMG][/IMG]

Same prob, just adjust the pins. Locktite would help to keep them from coming loose.
