I like the Z06 i bought for the reasont hat it is somewhat unique as well.
Both great cars. I'm still shocked new tires could make the car change this much. This is the second time i have bought kumhos and they are dollar for dollar the best out there. I have brand new Michelin Pilot sports on my Z06 and they are just as good but i don't think better and they cost A LOT more
You seem not to like the look of the C4 so why have it?
I just replaced Nitto 555s with the Kumho 712s and I like them a lot. The 712s will flat spot if the car sits for more than a couple of days but they round out within 2-3 miles so it's not really an issue. They are a good tire for the money.
Good to know. When I think of Kumho I think of a soft tire that will wear quickly, however after reading a lot of peoples' opinions on them my mind is starting to change. They are cheaper, that's for sure.
The tires I've been looking at are Nitto 555s and BFGs (forget exactly which tire - probably the one just short of drag radial performance). How do they compare to Kumhos?
I had some Nittos.... they get ridiculously loud as the tread wears.... I now have BF Goodrich KDWS on all fours...nice tire, great traction dry or wet, and much much quieter....

I know what you mean. When I bought my '93, it had some Duncraps on it. They had plenty of tread on them but were hard. The car was downright dangerous to drive. I put on some GS-D3's and the grip is unbeliveable. P.S. did you save the chrome door handles from your white C4? I still want a pair.

LOL, no the handles went with the car. You can but them i think still out of the catalogs. Those handles made that car. Heres a link to the car:
