Toughest mod yet
So my question is: How long did it take your install? and How hard was it?
I know it's going to look hella sweet when its done.

If so, what was the snag??
My problems:
1.---so so so many little holes---
2.---long long long string---
this string has to be pulled all the way through each hole each
time, w/o getting any knotts which is nearly impossible
3.---matching holes---
messed up on this I thought
4.---stitching---
I should have read the instructions better the first time
After all of the set backs I got started on the right path which was about 1hr. into the project
Then it took another hour to get from the bottom/middle to the bottom/left spoke. Then came the dummy stitches which bridge the gap between the spokes. Messed up on that the fist try. So I left it and came inside for a while.
Thanks for listening...........I'm sure when I get around to the top, it will get much easier. Not much progress for 2 1/2hrs.. but I will post pics when I'm done.
I can appreciate the issues in a way as I've recovered and hand sewn the covers for my visors, so "long thread" is not new to me.
Good luck with the finish up.

Once I got the hang of it, and I was in the zone, I was finished before I knew it. Ending up on the right hole was a good sign, but it is a fraction off center. Who knew?
I also "dummy" laced the backside, behind the spoke. Who else did that?
THANKS FOR THE INTREST FOLKS--pics as soon as I can figure this out.

What wheel skin did you use?
