I think it would be a great time. Where would I check to see about events in central OH. Mid-Ohio is 20 minutes away . . . but, never heard about track days. They seem to be rented by clubs alot though.

Your right - I track mine whenever I can - Spring Mountain - fernley Reno - local autoX etc - but not many other C-4's. Spring mountain runs a 2 day corevette HDPE - but everybody else there is either C-5 or C-6. My brother in his C-3 and me in my C-4 - we represent the common economically depressed street urchins of the corvette world!

'Coaster is right; closest road course is 4 hours away from us in San Diego. That means LEAVING the house by 4AM to get to the track by 8AM.
Too much driving for too little driving....if you get my 'drift'.
Although, I plan on going with my son to Buttonwillow this winter when it cools off and running my C4 agains his VW. (and he will run away from me)

Why don't you go down the night before, tech in, and stay at a hotel? I only have a 3 hour drive but like to go down the night before, as I like to be fresh the day I am on the track.

As far as I'm concerned, that is the ONLY way to do it!!
You do have local autocrosses and drag racing though. Nearest road racing would probably be Willow Springs, 4 hrs away. No excuses for you.
Well yeah, I can drag race at Qualcomm or at the Barona Speedway, but he was talking about tracks. Sorry, but I'm not gunna drive 4 hours to a track very often, if ever.
Yep, and I am one of them Been to Summit Point and Watkins Glen so far...
Any track day I do I grab a hotel room and come the night before so I can be fresh the next day. I can't do it any other way
