Silver hash marks
So a while ago I asked why people get flamed for putting hash marks on their cars, and was told it was a long long story. Finally have a couple pics of them.
Am I better off or worse off with them? They're silver, not white - hard to tell from the lighting.

I think they look hot but i also have them! If YOU like them that's all that should matter anyway!

I definitely didn't want red hash marks, which would make it seem like a wanna-be GS being that we have the same color.

Somehow, some way, it became a trend to call anything "ricey" if cosmetic add-ons suggest that the car is something other than what it truly is. In this case, these people think that the hashmarks are reserved *only* for Grand Sports, and as a result, any other C4 with hashmarks must be a "poser."
Well I say
. There are plenty of C5s with racing stripes, and you don't see those guys calling eachother posers for wanting to be a Commemorative Edition Z06... Modding cars is about personal enjoyment - you do what makes you happy. Eff everybody else's opinon.

i'm one of those "purists", but really only in the sense of body lines. i hate ugly body kits with a raving passion. most corvette folks do. but thats not the subject here.....those stripes are a tasteful minor visual mod, that can be easily reversed; this is the best kind because if and when the time comes that it no longer suits your fancy, you can remove them. and being silver against your admiral blue exterior sets them off with a classy look

Where did you get yours? I need to get a replacement set for my car. The silver ones on my car have alot of buildup and im looking to get a new pair. I bought mine off the forum about 3 years ago off a forum member....

And Zidane: got mine at Corvette Central. Mid America may have silver, too, but they aren't shown in the catalogs or website (as far as I can tell).
