I have an 87 w/TPI, when the car is running it doesn't leak, but sometimes while the car is parked (not running) all of the Power Steeling Fluid will dump onto the ground. I cant find any obvious leak anyone have similar occurance or suggestion. It only does it sometimes and seems completely random.

With the engine running, the PS system is under pressure and if it was going to leak, that would be the time. One possibility is that the reservoir is too full. With the engine cold, check the PS fluid level and make sure the fluid is only at the "COLD" mark. Excess fluid in the reservoir will be forced out pas the cap if you run the engine at high RPM's for an extended period.
c4 is correct. A PS problem is almost always at its worst when a car is running. Also, fluid has got to be leaking from some place. Suggest you do a good clean up and look for leaks.
No, the reservoir isnt too full, and when it dumps the fluid you can hear the pump grinding. Its really odd I cant understand why it happens and it doesn't matter which direction the wheels are turned or anything. I can drive it all day long without loosing fluid then sometimes ill go to start it in the morning and the PSF is all over my driveway again. I just keep a case of PSF in my trunk!! I was thinking about changing the lines and see if that helps but would it be leaking from somewhere else?
A guess. It could be leaking where the reservoir joins the pump. When it's hot the seams are sealed, but when it gets cold, the seams could be opening up a little and letting the fluid out. Just a WAG, but worth checking.
