There is an 88 vette on ebay listed as "1988 CHEVY CORVETTE 35TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY-PACE CAR"
It has the original brown interior and and pace car decals. The guy has a 16,500 "buy it now" price. He must be a crack smoker.
