Default ltpws question...again

bands broke awhile back instead of paying to have tires taken off etc etc can i do something else? Ive heard of pulling the bulb. Is there any easier way than ripping out my dash?

If the bands are broke with the tires on, I don't think it's a good idea to just leave them in bouncing around, not only will it wreck the sensors but will probably pull the tire out of balance.
What I did was leave them in the original tires/rims and put on the new ones, LTPWS lights never went on (system was good to begin with).
You can also pull the fuse, if I remember correct it is also for cruise control

I have one of those clear pieces with the corvette logo over the screen where all the messages come up so I put a piece of black electrical tape over that part of the screen so I don't have to see the message.

haha. you make a good point. Luckily the sensors are not inside the tires but if they were i would have a big problem on my hands. I have the sensors in the garage. I think i like the electical tape idea with the dash plate. Thanks yall

My cruise control doesn't work anyway, and I really dont plan to fix it anytime soon. So I could pull the fuse and this light would stop popping up 10 minutes into my drive??? What can I do about INFL REST, it never goes off.
