Depends on what parts you need
Chevy dealer for some, Parts store for others, Internet sites (Ecklers,Corvette Central etc) and even ebay has some occasionally
I have never had any trouble finding parts for either car

Whatever you do don't buy them up here. I am doing a heads and cam swap and need a water pump drive gear. It's $143.50 at Wilson Niblett and $43.50 from TPIS. If you need anything Corvette Central and TPIS are good people to deal with.

Not correct. Read the 2005 Tarriff Schedule for Vehicles. Section 87.08 contains "Parts". Most items are 6% unless you drive an 18 wheeler.

There is an excellent source for parts in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is through Climax Collission. They specialize in Corvette parts. I dont' have the telephone number here but you can find the number on-line.
