Dash lights

The light behind my climante control went out. How hard is this to replace?

1990.

The lights are soldered in. They can be replaced, but you'll probably need to get replacements at a place like Radio Shack.

I replaced some digi-dash lights with some a member told me I could find at NAPA........They were much cheaper than any other outlet. Just don't touch them with your fingers (oils), because they burn hotter....

On my '88 I can pull the control unit and replace the pulb.

This is not in the cluster. It is behind the AC controls. Soldered in or removable.

I can't help you. I can't even think of a good joke to cheer you up about this one. The thought of having to open up and solder with "gloved" hands so as not blow a bulb or some such is not a great prospect.
