I ordered 2 exterior door handles and a set of door weatherstripping for my 93 convertible on 8/29/05 through gmpartsdirect.com. 3 days later, i recieved an email stating that the items werea special order that may take up to 4 weeks for delivery and I could not cancel the order..no phone numbers or anything. I finally recieved the products yesterday 9/22/05. Better than the 4 week projected time... Still not bad. I open the products and the weatherstripping looks good but the door handles I can tell they are referbished. They had a scratch on each that looks like they were repainted. $190, 4 weeks later and I'm upset. Oh and I can't return them because they were "special order". I will never buy from them again. All weatherstripping I will buy from the local dealer. Paying a little extra is worth not waiting and getting refurbished parts.

Wow...didn't know they would do that.

I've had good experiences with them...the only thing you have to be careful with is their very high shipping rates (IMHO).

Guess that goes to prove nobody is making GM parts for C4's anymore...
